Marathon efforts and event news

Somehow a whole year has passed since this blog was launched, and since the last London Marathon. Did someone press the fast forward button??

Quite apart from the marathon efforts of our wonderful supporters over the past year (you can read more here), this is a public promise to make an equal effort in keeping our blog more up to date....

Anyway, back to the news:

Helena Stone and friend Lynne are taking on the marathon challenge this weekend - you can sponsor them here

Good luck to you both!

If you don't fancy the marathon, how about joining us for this year's Hydroactive women's challenge - a more manageable 5km and a wonderful day out.

Registration is now open here

You can read about last year's race and the wonderful efforts of FNNU supporters here

New equipment thanks to your support

As the accounting year draws to a close we wanted to let you know about the pieces of equipment we have bought with your donations in the past twelve months.

We are thrilled to have been in a position to purchase so much, and are enormously indebted to all our supporters.

Our list includes: 12 Asena Pumps (£20,000), 6 ITU Monitors (£50,000), 2 Opthalmoscopes (£1600), 3 Breast Feeding Chairs (£640), 2 Mixers for Ventilators (£8400), 1 Digital Camera and Printer (£110)

We are so lucky that so many people have supported us again this year - we thank you all. We would also like to pay particular tribute to
The Benjamin Weir Trust, The South Family, Angela Hudson, Wandsworth Council and the whole team of Hydroactive 5K Runners, The Trowel and Hammer Lodge, Arriva Bus Garage, Edward Smalldon's family, Joel Blakley's family, Eddie Morison's family, Lily Turner's family and friends, Daytona Sandown Park, and Anya Hollis.
