Please help raise awareness of neonatal care in parliament

Sadiq Khan, the Labour MP for Tooting, has tabled an
early day motion
in parliament to raise awareness of neonatal care. BLISS, the national premature baby charity, is running a campaign to ask MPs to show their support for the petition and to call for the government to improve care for sick and premature babies.
You can email your MP and lend your support directly from the BLISS website.

Caroline and Peter South present £10,000 to the FNNU

Just before Christmas, Caroline and Peter South visited the St George's Neonatal Unit to present a cheque for £10,000 to the Friends of the Neonatal Unit. This is just the latest installment from the South family, whose fundraising efforts have made a huge contribution to the unit over the past few years. Their 8-year-old son Ben was born prematurely at just 28 weeks and the excellent care he received prompted them to set up a charity to raise much needed funds.

The Camberley Heath Golf Club was the venue for their latest event, a golf day and charity evening that raised the £10,000. Peter and Caroline are already planning a grand ball this summer, which is set to bring their personal fundraising to well over £50,000. A huge thank you to them and their friends and family.
